Ekka!

Woke up early in the morning although i didn't turn in early the previous night.Somehow,i still felt excited although i've been to Ekka last year.Made a morning call to D,but apparently,he was still very much in Dreamland.

Got everything packed and left for Toowong train station with my housemates to meet up with the rest.When we got there,we realised we're the earliest although we arrived later than the meeting time. The guys arrived shortly after.Well,we were supposed to meet at 9am,in the end,we left the meeting place at bout 10.30.Haa.So much for setting a meeting time!

When we got to Ekka,many of us were excited,cos most of them were '1st timers'.As we anxiously wait for our turn to walk through the entrance,we were all stretching our necks here and there,trying to get a glimpse of the going-ons inside.Because the Ekka carnival was surrounded by fences,we weren't able to see much till we got in.
Shortly after we went in,we started shopping for showbags.Showbags are little bags of choc/lollies/toys that we can get at a cheaper rate.After shopping for showbags for bout 1.5hrs,we met up with the guys who apparently looked like they didn't get any shopping done,in contrast to us.

Later on,we went out and wandered around.Stopping now and then to buy finger food and trying out foods that we haven't tried or seen b4.Went to look at farm animals and took a photo carrying the baby sheep!So cute.Hee.Check it out in my frenster.

As the day went on,people started getting tired.At this time,the gals,surprisingly,are still quite energetic.So we decided to go check out the rides and games.K tried her hand at a game and spent $15 just to try getting a very big stuffed toy!No,she didn't win it in the end.

Left Ekka at bout 6+ and headed to Happy World with the rest to celebrate J's departure from Australia.It was quite an emotional time though,when we started giving our personal testimony of J in turns.Well,no worries!He's coming back next Feb.
