Wedding!!

Woohoo!Had a tiring but fun filled day!

Woke up as early as 6am to get ready to set off for my cousin's place so that we can prepare the 'food' that we're offering the bridegroom and friends in order to 'get to' my cousin,who's waiting at the bride's house.

The weather was terribly hot and humid and both Jamie and I(we're the bridesmaid) and the 'sisters' were standing at the gate, dressed in our best and with make up on, were perspiring and at the same time,trying to make the groom and friends succumb to our the amount of the BIG hongbao and the stuffs they had to eat/drink b4 we open the gate to let them in. As we were 'negotiating' the terms,one of the groom's friend climbed over the fence at the side without us noticing.Haa.Luckily,the small gate was locked,so even if he managed to climb in,he won't be able to open the gate to let the groom and friends in.

After the tea ceremony,Jamie and I headed to the groom's house for the tea ceremony.Had a good chat with Jamie on the way to the groom's place and wow!,we're of the same frequency!Given her age, i thought she would 'talk down' to me,but no,she treated me like a mature adult.Thanks Jamie!Hope to be able to meet up with her again when i get back.Anyway,had a light lunch and headed to Botanical Gardens for a photo shoot.ARGH.More perspiration.Hehe...
It turned out that it wasn't that hot but still humid,and there were a few light breezes.Thank God!

Headed home after the photo shoot to freshen up and to change into the evening gown.Reached Fullerton Hotel at bout 630,just in time.Well,frankly speaking,i was quite nervous,because it's my first time being a bridesmaid and also,Tuan(the male bridesmaid) tricked us saying that either Jamie or I have to give a short live speech,and we're both very reluctant to do it!I was so nervous!Trying to think of something impressing yet short to describe my cousin.Had a brief chat with Tuan and the rest of the people i was unfamiliar with.

The ceremony started with the flower gal and boy walkin down the aisle,followed by Jamie and I,escorted by Tuan.Hmm....I must say,the more i look at Tuan,the more i agree with my sister,that Tuan has this charismatic look!And he's humorous and nice blah blah blah...I can go on and on!!Dinner was good,had a few top quality food,but after the 4th dish,i was quite filled already,and didn't have appetite to finish the rest of the dishes.However,i did eat the desert served at the end of the dinner.When there's a beginning,there should be an end.Haa.

At the end of the dinner,everyone started clearing out,but i was left at our table to guard the things while the rest go take more pictures or to the washroom.Was playing with the handphone when Tuan came over and we chatted for a while.Was thinking in my heart,'Yes!This is the chance to get a pic with him!But no one was around to take a pic for us.Luckily my sister came back just in time and asked him for me!Thank God!Yeah!I got a picture with him.So glad!Yippee!!!At least i can admire the pic after he returns to the States......

Meanwhile,i'll just admire the picture and maybe 1 day,go look for him in the States...hehe
