Kelly accepted Christ..!!

It all happened on 7th November,Kelly's bday....

Was supposed to have dinner with Kelly in the city on Sunday,7th Nov to celebrate her bday.However, i had to attend church,so i took the opportunity to ask Kelly along to church,praying that this time would be the time that God will touch her heart.And He did!Yeeha!!

During service,Kelly was sitting in front of me and while we were all busy listening and copying down the sermon notes,i saw her just sitting there,with her arms crossed.And i was like,NO,God didn't touch her today,or rather,not yet.

At the end of the service,Pastor Lailing was prompted in her heart to pray for a few grps of people and the last prayer was for non believers.All heads were bowed and eyes were closed when she was asking for people who needed prayers to raise their hands.FInally,we all stood up to sing a worship song and Ps Lailing asked people who have raised their hands to go to the altar(front) so that the leaders can lay hands on them and pray for them.

TO my SURPRISE!!!Kelly went out.Instantly,my heart was pounding very quickly and i looked at Marilyn beside me and we were both giving that 'Is she going out to accept Christ' look...Previously one of the prayer was for students having exams,so Marilyn and I were thinking maybe she went in front to pray for her exams....Marilyn and I were staring at her almost all the time when she was up front...the only things in our minds were 'Is she accepting Christ today'???

When Kelly came back,she had a big,radiant smile on her face,and Voila!the verdict was out.She ACCEPTED Christ!!Felt so happy for her!!The rest of the evening,we were bringing her around and introducing her to the rest of our bro and sis in Christ.I was so excited that i went around asking people 'Do you know Kelly accepted Christ?!'..Haa..So much for the excitement...

Well,now that Kelly has accepted Christ,it means the whole of our household are God's women!Yeah!God is GOOD!He never fails to encourage people at the right time!!

If any of u knew Kelly,she used to be quite anti-Christ and will always have lots of questions for Rae and I regarding Christianity and we always have a hard time trying to convince her.She also thought that we Chritians are ignorant,to take the words in the Bible for real and stuffs like that.But now!Haa...She's one of us,so,see,for non believers who are reading this entry (including you,Lijun),take the step of faith to believe in Jesus,you have nothing to lose and lots to gain,so why not try trusting in HIM?!!
