It's raining ice!!!

Hehe..as you can see, it's 6:40 am and i'm awake!!Haa.Supposed to go walking with fren in the morning,but we called it off cos she was feeling real tired.Anyway,couldn't get back to sleep already,so i decided to come update my blog for my sister -Lijun!!

Well,few days ago (Thursday to be exact),we had a hailstorm in Brissy.For those of you who don't know what it it,it's basically just a storm but this time,instead of water droplets,crushed ice were falling from the sky!!Haa.It was a rare sight - for my housemates and I,and even the Aussies here.

When i got home from Uni (after the hailstorm),thank God(!),upon alighting from the bus, i was greeted by the cold and misty weather. The pathways everywhere were covered with ice. Once i stepped into my apartment,my housemate excitedly greeted me at the door and suggested going down to to grab some pictures with the aftermath of the hailstorm.Hee.Mountain tortoise huh?! Well,of cos i grabbed the opportunity the snap some pictures so tht i can bring them back to Singapore and make you all jealous!!Muahahhahah.....

Apparently,our place was hit quite badly by the hailstorm,the whole driveway and pathways leading to our estate was covered with ice,and people!!Haa.There was a group of Aussie gals playing in the ice when we went down and I decided to grab a picture with them.Hee.Upon chatting,we found out that they actually drove all the way down frm University to check out the hailstorm!!And it's their 1st time seeing such things!!Wow!!I'm so fortunate too - to be able to experience such a thing.Hee....
