Yes!I was watching Hillsong United (a Christian Youth Band in Sydney)DVD yesterday and what one of the pastors (Darlene Zchech) said really struck me --> We should live a life to RIGHT what is WRONG in this world.
No matter how people view us,we should always stand up for the right and turn away from the wrong.It's hard sometimes..well..most of the time,but like what the Bible says:
"Do not conformed any longer to the pattern of this world,but be transformed by the renewing of your mind!"
That's right!Many times,we're afraid to be jeered by our friends or ostracized by not doing what the majority do,but we should ask ourselves if it's the right thing?
- laughing at someone because they aren't like the many slimmer people around..
- talking bad bout someone behind their backs...
- treating 'un-nice' pple the way they treat you...
