Lowering my standards just to 'FIT IN'

How many times have you lowered your standards (of God) to fit into a conversation?

I don't know about you; but for me, I know that I do it at times, only to regret later on for the things that I said/remarks about people that I make.

And all these happen so that I can 'FIT IN' with the people around me!

Was reading the Bible today (2 Corinthians 1: 12- 14) and God reminded me about how we should always be true and transparent in all our relationships, else, we'll end up lowering ourselves to spreading rumors, gossiping and second guessing.

This is so evident in my life (i.e. at my workplace) at this point of time.We all know that politics are inevitable in a work environment. Many times I prayed to God to help me not get involved (as an accuser) or become a victim of such politics. And though I cannot deny that I end up 'falling' at times; I thank God that He has helped me through challenging times - else, it would be uncountable how many times I've lowered my standards just to 'FIT IN' with my colleagues' conversations.

Looking at the many things that happen at my workplace, I really THANK God for who He is. I can go to God any time and anywhere, He is with me 24/7. How cool is that?!!

Thank you JESUS!!
